Telma GomesProgram Director
Telma Gomes' professional background relies on twenty years working in Supply Chain and CSR areas with large multinationals including Compaq and Hewlett-Packard. Based on her community involvement and sustainability work, Telma was invited to be the Secretariat of Institutional Relations in the municipality of Jaguariúna, Brazil. During her tenure she developed a project to inspire women in decision-making positions and to increase their participation in governance and boards. While in Sweden, she co-founded an international initiative called One Future, One Planet and has now co-developed “WIESD – Women in the forefront of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Development”. Her aspirations are to be part of a worldwide shift that involves people, communities, companies, and governments to move society towards a sustainable and flourishing world.
Telma is originally from Brazil and moved with her family to Sweden for her studies in Masters of Science in Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability at BTH University. Kimberly King is an internationally recognized social entrepreneur and change agent whose passion lies in the intersection of business strategy, sustainability and social impact.
King’s unique perspective reflects 25 years as a pioneer in CSR and whole-systems design and development representing trade associations, Fortune 500′s, NGO's, arts & media, Government municipalities and the United Nations. King’s innovative models and marketing strategies have generated an estimated 4 billion dollars for clients/partners to date. Kimberly is a pioneer in the Resilient Communities movement with a focus on collaborative innovation, women and youth. Her two decades of work covers the spectrum of STEAM, education and self-esteem programs for girls; inter-generational leadership, entrepreneurship and microfinance for women and seniors ; public initiatives addressing health, sex traffiking, and violence against women; and gender parity and participation in all facets of business and government. Kimberly is a public dialogue convener, speaker, producer and featured Co-author in “The Power of Team” and best selling series “Wake Up, Live the Life You Love.” Kimberly has worked & traveled to 70 countries and is an honored recipient of the Eleanor Roosevelt Global Humanitarian Award.
